how can we use some of the --install features without installing ?

or maybe a better explanation, how can we "--install" without having the "cp" command trigger ?
im using this as part of a install script for a environment setup, (using the DNS-01 method -dns for issue)
so i have already copied over the acme.sh file, and all dependences etc
so as that doesn't need to be "installed" as i already have the acme.sh file where it needs to be,
i am using the "--home" and "--home-config", so it tries to "cp" over itself, and gives a error ..

Feb 04 21:04:10 ubuntu bash[200506]: cp: 'acme.sh' and '/home/sashi1738702973267297449/.docker/acme/acme.sh' are the same file
Feb 04 21:04:10 ubuntu bash[200472]: [Tue Feb  4 21:04:10 GMT 2025] Installation failed, cannot copy acme.sh

if i could prevent this happening i think all will be ok.

why do you use the --install command if you don't want to install it?
I'm just confused.

as some settings can only be stated with --install
mainly -m --nocron --home path/

EDIT
just tried and -accountmail and --nocron DOES work when not in a --install..
i think the docs need updating, as it states they dont.
BUT some still dont, like --home to specify the working director, and config directory.
but using the default, seems to be working for me..
