[Bug] High CPU/Resource usage and freezes in v1.8.0 AppImage

Describe the bug

I downloaded and configured the zmninja-1.8.0-linux-x86_64.AppImage version, but I noticed crashes and high resource consumption.

I have always used the same configuration on Windows with the same tested computer and never had any issues. Therefore, I downgraded to version v1.7.008 and everything returned to normal; it is now working as it should.

I checked the logs, but they don't show any errors!

Additional context

It’s been 1 day since I migrated this PC to Pop!_OS 22.04, so the system hasn't been fully tested yet!
