When I use '--' to represent a full dash, the syntax highlighting algorithm sees it as a strikethrough (--text--). This causes the editor to apply strikethrough highlighting to all subsequent text in bulk, which is unpleasant to write.
The same thing happens with URLs: the '//' in 'https://xxxxxxx.com' is interpreted by the syntax highlighting algorithm as an italic (//text//), which causes the editor to apply strikethrough highlighting to all subsequent text in bulk.
These critical bugs make it difficult for me to use this extension.
