Unofficial CFA fork spotted on PlatformIO Registry #165

This has prompted me to make a start on publishing CRSF for Arduino to Arduino's Library Registry. I am thinking of giving the uploader to PlatformIO's Registry six months to reach out to me, as this is the same time-frame I give everyone who contributes to CFA. As funny as it is, I am a wee bit miffed they bet me to it and took it upon themself to upload it instead of reaching out to me first. I would have appreciated them for at least requesting it in my Issues tab, but hey... that's the way the cookie crumbles. |

The claim on the namespace I submitted to PlatformIO Registry's repository has completed, and ownership of the PlatformIO Registry entry of CRSF for Arduino has been transferred to me, making CRSF for Arduino's presence on the PlatformIO Registry official. |

Update 2025-12-11 NZDT
CRSF for Arduino on the PlatformIO Registry has been transferred to its rightful owner — me.
See the follow-up announcement here
While I was perusing the PlatformIO Registry, I found 👇🏻 this wee jem. 😆

Yea. It's genuinely funny to me that someone did this, and it has been up there for a year.
The irony? I was going to do this myself. I still plan to.
I did a cursory search of the uploader and they go by the name of "Aqwety", "qwety" or "qaz baz" on PlatformIO.
If this is you, please can you reach out to me here in this thread. I do actually want to get CRSF for Arduino — my CRSF for Arduino — up on the registry as well as the Arduino's official Library Manager. That way, you will have official support from me on both platforms.
When I do this, I will ask you to take down your fork of CRSF for Arduino so that folks will be able to come to me for support instead. Thanks in advance.
One more thing
If you, my user-base, use the fork of CRSF for Arduino that is currently present on the PlatformIO Registry, I do not support this version. It is also woefully out-of-date, as I have since gone to the Rolling Release Model instead of the former Point Release Model I used to use.
In other words, if you have issues with that specific fork, I cannot help you.
