The Federal Chief Data Officers Council's Data Sharing Working Group highlights the success of the National Electronic Injury Surveillance System – All Injury Program (NEISS-AIP). The NEISS-AIP expands the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission National Electronic Injury Surveillance System (NEISS) from consumer-related injuries to include all types and causes of injuries, enabling the calculation of national estimates of injuries treated in emergency departments.
