Have you gone through the application to access the finance API? The finance API is restricted and can only be accessed if you are part of a bank or financial institution that has signed a partnership agreement with Xero.
If you have been given access to the required scopes, please can you raise a case with the Xero Support Team here and include your app's client id and a screen shot of any error message, so we can check whether this is SDK-related.
