Hive isn't listed as one of the supported SQLAlchemy dialects, but there are instructions in PyHive.

Running list of issues:

PyHive doesn't work with datetime - Added Sqlalchemy param bindings dropbox/PyHive#133
"No result set" error - INSERT/executemany fails dropbox/PyHive#50
