Okay so,

Each stat will have an assigned item at each item rarity. Combining it with an item at the rarity it's assigned will apply a specific amount of its stat to the item. The number value shall be derived, at current, only from the item level.

Maybe we could have it split in two:

  • enchanting can make runes, which can be applied to items
  • enchanting can also apply runes to items

Items would have a rune limit that could do things like increase stats, increase and decrease stats, or modify base item properties (durability, etc).
