Audit SEO/Social code in each child theme #674

Each theme has functions to handle seo/social meta, adding and customizing opengraph tags. For example, Photos & Themes have separate files, Patterns with code in functions.php.

A lot of this is custom to the site, but maybe some of it could be moved to the site-branding.php mu-plugin (not wporg-mu-plugins, but it's easier to track this in a github repo).

Possible things that could be extracted out…

  • Enable Jetpack's opengraph handler
  • Change the document separator to |
  • Set a default ogimage
  • Update the <title>
