What problem does this address?

The Nav block has an editable list view in it's sidebar controls.

If you click on any of the items listed then that block is selected and this causes the sidebar to show the settings for that sub block.

The problem is it's far too easy to accidentally trigger that behaviour for example:

  • when attempting drag and drop
  • when attempting to access the block options "3 dots" menu.

What is your proposed solution?

Improve the UX to make accessing the block's settings a more deliberate action.

I might suggest having a distinct button (arrow?) which when clicked triggers the block selection.
