Writers and reviewers of Developer Blog articles are eligible for Documentation Contributor badges.

The list of writers and reviewers is kept in the spreadsheet. (last updated Sep 3 /@bph)
Once a month, the articles are reviewed to add new contributors to the spreadsheet.
The badge section of the WordPress Profile will inform if the new contributor needs a badge issued.
Every few months, a list of contributors that needs a badge is provided to Docs Team rep

As per Jan 4, 2024, the Developer Blog has 39 contributors, of which 23 were new.

Every quarter, Birgit sends a Slack message to Scott Reilly, @coffee2code, on the meta team to request badges for new contributors.

Monthly meetings take place on every first Thursday of the month in the #core-dev-blog Slack channel or the #core-dev-blog room in the community matrix
