Writers and reviewers of Developer Blog articles are eligible for Documentation Contributor badges.
Documentation contributor badge

  • The list of writers and reviewers is kept in the spreadsheet.
  • Once a month, the articles are reviewed to add new contributors to the spreadsheet.
  • The badge section of the WordPress Profile will inform if the new contributor needs a badge issued.
  • Every few months, a list of contributors that needs a badge is provided to Docs Team rep

As per Jan 4, 2024, the Developer Blog has 39 contributors, of which 23 were new.

To request new badges, Birgit will send a Slack message to @coffee2code every quarter.

Monthly meetings take place on every first Thursday of the month in the #core-dev-blog Slack channel or the #core-dev-blog room in the community matrix
