Not sure what I'm doing wrong... Wpide tells me the following:

Use the file manager to find a file you wish edit, click the file name to edit.

WPIDE STARTUP CHECKS

WordPress version = 3.5.2

Web server user/group = :
wp-content owner/group = spendsou:spendsou

wp-content folder exists and contains 5 files

Using the direct method of the WP filesystem API
The wp-content folder IS readable and IS writable by this method
The wp-content/plugins folder IS readable and IS writable by this method
The wp-content/themes folder IS readable and IS writable by this method

If the file tree to the right is empty there is a possibility that your server permissions are not compatible with this plugin.
The startup information above may shed some light on things.
Paste that information into the support forum for further assistance.

So, there's no file manager, the file tree is empty, I've just installed wordpress and it's totally stock standard. I have no idea how to access a file I want to edit...

Look forward to help. Thanks!
