The OrthoMCL website contains two types of data: (1) OrthoMCL groups and (2) protein sequences. You can search for groups or proteins in three general ways:

Site search, located at the top center of the page in the banner, allows you to identify groups or proteins based on keywords. A wild card (asterisk *) may be used in combination with words or IDs. For example, *choline, would identify results with the word 'choline' and any compound words ending in choline like 'acetylcholine'.

OrthoMCL groups may be identified using any of the specific searches available at the left of the home page or from the "Searches" drop-down menu at the top of the page.

Proteins in OrthoMCL may be identified using any of the specific searches available at the left of the home page or from the "Searches" drop-down menu at the top of the page.
