Watching Dan walk though how a user flows through logging in, uploading a dataset, check the status, and then explore the data, made it clear that this flow has not been a priority. Now that we're focusing more on user datasets, we should make this flow more straightforward and include clear steps at each point.

I'll bring this up in the mbio call this week but we should also chat as a larger group about the shared priority of this work. Users are very confused at where to go next at multiple steps of the process.

Note for mbio there's also confusion (and an opportunity!) around preprocessing. It'd be really helpful to have a big flow chart that shows the logos of the other places/tools/pipelines where folks can get/generate data to load into mbiodb.

Note that some aspects of the current user flow will change with vdi. For example, when a user creates a new user dataset in vdi, they will go directly to the user dataset page, rather than to Recent uploads.
