[optional] Examine effects of nudging on differences between 2020 and decadal mean #6

Run the same as in #4 but with nudging up to 27 km.

See the following instructions:

  • For each year copy "cleared" version of MUAM /gemeinsam_tmp/VACILT/Referenz_LH_k10/ into a new folder so that you can run it in parallel.
  • For each year edit ${bc_year} ./Referenz_LH/mak/muam_month.sh (in your case ${im} should loop Jan Feb Mar)
  • Activate conda environment: conda activate muam_post (see Create conda environment for MUAM postprocessing #3)
  • Run MUAM with the following command: time ./muam_month.sh &> log_$(date +"20%y-%m-%d_%T").txt
  • Check the log file and whether *.dx outputs were postprocessed to the NetCDF format in ${workdir}/nc/.

And compare with the run with nudging up to 4 km only, i.e. Referenz_LH.
