Ukazuje se, že je těžké vysvětlit k čemu jsou polovodičové detektory dobré a jaké jsou jejich výhody oproti současným detektorům. Důvodem je, že polovodičové detektory nejsou příliš známé. Zřejmě by tak bylo vhodné napsat nějaké vysvětlující texty na:
