This PR adds a customizable forward dash movement during attack animations.
This change is not necessary, but it helps enhance the game feel by adding some momentum to the Pig Chef's attacks, as inspired by games like Devil May Cry.
This was implemented by adding the
Dasher
component to PigChef. Then keyframes forDasher.dashMagnitude
were added to CaneHit.anim and CaneHit2.anim. To customize the dash amount, the designer just has to change the value ofDasher.dashMagnitude
using animation keyframes. Finally, theAddDashMovement
state action was added to Idle, Walking, IdleAttacking, and WalkAttacking states.AddDashMovement
simply adds the value ofDasher.DashMovementVector
toProtagonist.movementVector
to produce the dashing behavior.
