Important opportunity not to miss

As everyone has seen in Issues #206 and #207, we benefited from the contribution of Dr. Mohith Prabhu, Development Manager at MathWorks India.

The solutions we implemented could probably have been developed more easily using Simulink. However, we have never used this product before, and we are now willing to learn and explore its potential.

As we often say, we want to do everything possible to ensure that those who are willing to work hard and contribute can gain visibility and recognition. Therefore, please report any issues you have encountered while working with the Raspberry Pi devices. Moreover, after Professor Luigi Grossi's course in July, the devices will be returned and will be available for redistribution to those interested in developing serious and innovative projects.

During this week, I will be attending the MathWorks Research Summit in Boston together with Professor Aldo Corbellini and Dr. Luca Insolia from the University of Geneva:

I fully agree with Professor Riani's words. This message draws a clear line on the approach that must guide the research activity and technological development within our group.
There are three key points that deserve to be further highlighted and adopted by everyone:

• Openness to New Tools (Simulink): Scientific efficiency inevitably depends on the ability to move beyond our established standards. Recognizing the potential of tools we have not yet explored in depth, such as Simulink for hardware/software integration, and demonstrating the flexibility to integrate them into our workflow is the primary driver of innovation.
• Value of Merit and International Networking: The collaboration with prominent figures like Dr. Mohith Prabhu from MathWorks India and the participation in the Boston Research Summit demonstrate that the quality of our work opens direct channels with global industry and research. Anyone who invests time and skills is guaranteed a return in terms of visibility and international opportunities.
• Resource Optimization (Raspberry Pi): The redistribution of the hardware equipment after the course is a concrete opportunity. Promptly reporting any issues encountered serves to map current technical needs, but planning solid projects right now for the reuse of these devices is what transforms a teaching resource into a scientific research asset.

The invitation to accept no alternative to excellence is necessity to maintain the high standard of our scientific outputs and the attractiveness of our projects.
