Bug Description

Component moves focus after navigation

The focus is moved because this.focus is called on after rendering. I would expect that to not be necessary and focus to not depend on the rendering if not needed.

I expect that the mouse click should set some state, then it doesn't matter when the actual focus will run, the press of left arrow should check the state and know what the new date is regardless of whether the focus has happened or not. In the video above, it seems that the Left Arrow depends on the DOM state, but it should only depend on the component state.
