This is a description of a source release process. This tutorial is meant to be for core developers only.
- Branch the code with release version e.g. 0.7.3
- Find all occurrences of old version e.g 0.7.3-dev and replace it with release version 0.7.3. There may be places in documentation where the change should not be done. Remember to make a change to requirements.txt
- Commit the code to the branch (0.7.3)
- Checkout the new version branch (0.7.4)
- Find all occurrences of old version e.g 0.7.3-dev and replace it with next development version 0.7.4-dev
- Commit the code to the master branch
- Check out the release version (e.g. 0.7.3) and run bash ./build-http.sh to build the docker image. Build also other containers.
- Uncomment build-as-latest in release version and build latest docker version.
- Check if the database version does not have to be upgraded.
