Program does not work

Hello and thank you for your effort.

I got your program up and running and discovered a few more mistakes, or maybe I did something wrong.

I cannot select anything under 'Settings' and 'File'. I insert a picture of how it looks with me. Maybe someone can help me.
If I want to adjust the 'trashlimit' under settings, there is no change in the command line.
