MSU Resume Cancel might be failing on death (again?) #604

I had an MSU track resume at full volume after this sequence of events:

Start at the ship
Go through West Crateria to Green Brin (through an elevator room in the process)
Die to the spikes on the way to Hell
Start back at the ship
Go back into West Crateria

Reproduce and then figure out what happened.
