The games are super useful, but only if you already know what you are doing. It would be very helpful if the games teach what moves can be useful, specially the ones that are less known and make us more productive once we learn them (e.g. go back a word, substitute, jump, etc.).

Have you run through vimtutor? I would recommend doing that and then using vim-be-good to practice the movements that you learn. Another option would be https://vim-adventures.com/ to learn and vim-be-good to improve.
@brandoncc do you think vim-adventures is a good intro on top of ThePrimagen's vim tutorials? I'm on the fence about purchasing since I'm not sure how much value it'll give.
