Support for SEGA Genesis / Mega Drive Mini 2

You know, Hakchi supports dumping the 42 stock games and adding additional games to the SEGA Genesis / Mega Drive Mini 1. And now, SEGA has recently released a more powerful, compact Genesis / Mega Drive Mini 2 with a whopping 60 games, including SEGA CD / MEGA CD titles, and seven additional bonus games (including VS Puyo Puyo SUN).
Since the emulation and software side was coded by the same creator as the Mini 1, hopefully Hakchi support can be added to this more advanced successor, so we can add additional games or dump all 60 stock games, just like on the Mini 1. Also, can the SEGA CD / MEGA CD BIOS be extracted from the Mini 2 the same way? We'll have to wait and see.
We'll give the new console a chance and wait for a few days before modding it can be a possibility.

Apologies from raising this thread from the dead somewhat... but any joy with this at all? I have a Mini 2 and would give my left leg to be able to remove some of the junk titles and place a bunch of my all time favourites onto it, its a really nice bit of kit that runs well on my setup... would be amazing to be able to customise its game library

Half surprised the devs have not only abandoned this project, but also ignored those of us requesting this. I might have to consider looking elsewhere if they keep ghosting us for any longer
