Entity count explosion. #2
Comments
I'd love a log of some sort. I can't think of any significant changes I made in the 1.11.2 port. |
Here's the copied crash log: Sorry, Curse isn't quite as useful anymore. The larger full log is here: |
Can you post the crash log too? That's just the game log, and while it's useful in many cases, the only thing it says here is that JourneyToGensokyo is installed. Also, please use something like pastebin next time. |
Pastebin for crash log: https://pastebin.com/qNLcdrEU |
Right, do you have any other mods that add a fairy entity? I think minecraft is getting confused because there might be more than one fairy entity. |
Botania adds temporary Pixies and Roots adds Sprites. It could be either one of those (or both) even though they don't specifically say "fairy." |
Actually it may just be Roots 2. Elucent changed it from using Sprites to using Fairies in the rehash. |
This doesn't affect 1.10.2 so I know it must be with the 1.11.2 port specifically. Currently the game reports that the entity count is too high to use with most other mods that add entities. I believe this is probably due to a sub-type separation problem that the port past 1.11 may have caused. It may be counting all possible variations separately. This assessment of the problem was actually from another modder I know. He helped me figure out what the log meant. If you need the log(s) I'll send.
