I have updated to 0.27.5 just now and it seems to work normally.

You are not using the latest version.
Please make sure you are using latest version & fulfill all Template checks before filling an issue next time, thank you.

However Good News is that you can update to the latest v0.27.5 for the above fix. Because the bug you are reporting has been fixed in a recently released version 0.27.5.

Methods to Keep NewPipe app updated on your device:

  1. Keep your NewPipe app up-to-date from within app by going to Settings > Updates > turn it to ON to get updates notifications when there is an update available and also you can check manually for updates by
    Settings > Updates > check for updates.

  2. Download the latest APK from GitHub Releases

  3. By using our Official website.
    You can also download latest version directly from https://newpipe.net/#download (It’s the official application link).
