Updated list of my ideas for future tandoor

When you have a complex recipe with multiple ingredients lists and paragraphs of text it takes longer to save. It's not a long time persay but compared to when it's just 4 ingredients and like 4 sentences it's easily 3x+ longer. So speeding up saving or hell even an autosave would be really useful.

Increase the length of descriptions. Sometimes recipe descriptions are long and it's annoying having to cut things off

This one is entirely cosmetic and niche and totally not expected but a separate list for equipment

An actual good one would be a straightforward way to delete an ingredient instead of clicking on something then clicking it on it again to go away wouldn't a lil delete button be way ebetter for that

When Creating meal plan entry if your title is too long it doesn't save

Would really love the ability to add links for sources and demonstrations and techniques. Could even have them embed like an icon with a hover over prompt with a short descirition of what it is or sum idk

I'm not sure about the icon or not, but this can already be done with markup. Press the "?" on the right upper corner of any step in the edit mode for directions on how to do it. it's essentially [ hyperlink text ] ( link )

When clicking on an item on the shopping list it should just act like a button and expand the lil drop down menu instead of hjaving to press the details button

Ya kno there really should be a better way to drag ingredients between cards cause currently you gotta zoom out for it to be doable

A lil equipment list function would be cool. Would just be easier to pull eeverything out beforehand

You know what would actually be cool and kinda useful for everyone. A built in chart type program that shows recipes with ingredients that are in season.

Hmm well it appears to lack the ability to do an abstract search for something mundane but with a lot of varaitions like Pesto for example that would be pretty useful. You can put all the pesto recipes under the lil tab but it's crazy to put like 25 different recipes. So basically a general ingredient search

Ya kno it'd probably make more sense to have whatever matches whatever you're typing into the keyword first instead of whatever you're typing then the closest matching thing because you're more liekly to be typing in the same thing instead of something completely new

Now this is more of a bug than an actual improvement if you have the 3 dot drop down menu open when in the food section and accidentally click and move the lil menu card thing? the drop down thing bugs out and goes behind the other cards unless you refresh. It only happens with the one you messed up on tho

when adding multiple steps the ingredient list realyls houdln't copy over whatever was written in the previous step that just seems like such a weird oversight

or at the very least ad a lil button you can click to erase the list

Take that whole ai detected time in a recipe from mela and implement it in tandoor
