State of OpenTelemetry auto instrumentation

Hi, in the docs a first-class OpenTelemetry support is mentioned, I just wanted to know if that's coming in near future or is there a plan for it.

I'm currently struggling to setup auto instrumentation, probably because of ESM or Vite bundling server files. It would be nice if anyone could share a working example that uses node auto instrumentation, or just one of the auto instrumentation's that are not node native, such as pg.
