I think something like the Youtube "Teilen" -> "Eingebettet" feature would be the thing I imagine with this.

See: Youtube doku

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/dQw4w9WgXcQ?si=kOrs9Ch8nv2vFPQZ" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe>

(also maybe add the "feature" label)

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

On the website of a chair or a studentclub showing where you are located normally involves Custom maps, Screenshots or embedded google maps. This results in a lot of inconsistencies or not so nice data-sharing with google.
Example:
grafik Akaflieg

Describe the solution you'd like

Provide iframes to easily embed NavigaTUM in websites

  • When clicking on "Share" allow to select embedded view:
    grafik
  • Embedded view looks something like that:
    grafik
  • option to disable room info or put it in the "i" or a hamburger menu

The Google Maps implementation can also be helpful in designing the feature regarding UI

Describe alternatives you've considered

  • Stay with links
