7.0.4 (New system detection, BIOS workarounds)

Important! If you are using tools for the first time, please read Beginner's guide and AlienFX-GUI readme to configure out it's concept and operation principle.

Important! If you are migrating from version 5.x.x.x, open application folder and run alienfx-conv to convert registry configuration. In case you don't do so, you lost your color and effect settings (forever), as well as haptics and ambient settings (until converted).

Changes into this release:

All fan-control applications:

• New system detection method. You can check your system ID running alienfx-cli with or without parameters (into detection line).
• Workarounds for BIOS bugs added:
  • For G15 5510: G-mode can't start if current power mode is manual.
  • For some G-series: Fan can't spin up to maximal RPM after it stop or running low RPM.
• Lower CPU load then fan boost on
• Lower CPU load then G-mode on

AlienFan-GUI:

• Tray menu added for tray icon. You can switch power modes/g-mode there.

AlienFX-GUI:

• Autodetection dialogue clarified for better understanding of what buttons really do.
• Bug fixed: Highlight color changes does not apply to light immediately at "Devices" tab

AlienFX-CLI:

• Bug fixed: set-one command have Red and Blue channels reverted, so it set as BGR instead of RGB.

Known issues:

• Secondary ("On" state) color for "-Lock" buttons still doesn't set correctly for AW410/510. Chip reaction here is still not clear, i'm working on it.
