Important! If you are migrating from version 5.x.x.x, open application folder and run alienfx-conv to convert registry configuration. In case you don't do so, you lost your color and effect settings (forever), as well as haptics and ambient settings (until converted).

Changes into this release:

All light-control apps:

• New: Full support for APIv9 (AW410k/510k keyboards), including global effects (both permanent, per-key and key press). As usual, more effect types available in compare with AWCC.
• APIv9 update tare accelerated 400% for massive updates (but still slow a bit)
• Bug fixed: APIv9 device do not change light color in some situations (high update rate).

AlienFX-CLI:

• set-global command arguments changed to reflect APIv9 global effect modes. See usage for details.

AlienFX-GUI:

• New: Global effect support for APIv9.
• New: Global effect mode added into Global Effect block at "Profiles" tab (ignored for v5 devices).
• Global effect block at "Profiles" tab always enabled if supported device found (not only if "Global" effect mode enabled).
• In case no lights and grids defined, detection process starts automatically, without confirmation question. Just press "Cancel" if you don't need it.
• "Devices" tab optimized to faster device change for slow devices (but still can take a second or two).
• Bug fixed: Light operations not resumed in case "Devices" tab active and application minimized.
• Bug fixed: Switching to "Profiles" tab does not update selected profile settings.

Known issues:

• In fact, current global effect implementation does not fit new effect modes well (and need to be re-worked), so there is some limits:
  • Only one device with global effects supported, even if you have more, then one.
  • Modes not fully supported (in fact, it should be 2 effect blocks for device). For now, select mode first, then type and colors to set it.
  • Global effect block all color updates for device. It's not right for v9 mode 2 (Key press).
• It is still possible APIv9 device miss some light color updates at rapid profile changes (especially after effect was set to type 0 mode 1). Set it to type 19 (Firmware reset) to avoid it.
