Creating the Player character

The foundation of any RPG experience is the player's character. Currently, our system lacks a dedicated feature for players to create, customize, and manage their characters.

I propose the development of a Player Character Creation and Management feature. This would allow players to craft their unique characters, defining attributes, skills, backstories, and appearances. Additionally, players should be able to update and manage their character's progression throughout the game.

Proposed Features:

• Character Creation Wizard: A step-by-step guide to help players choose race, class, skills, and other attributes.

• Visual Customization: Options to define the character's physical appearance, including hair, eyes, attire, and any distinguishing features.

• Backstory Generator: For players who want a pre-defined backstory, provide options to generate one based on selected attributes.

• Character Sheet: A digital sheet displaying all character information, stats, equipment, and abilities. Players should be able to access and update this sheet during gameplay.

• Progression Tracking: As players advance, allow them to update their character's level, skills, equipment, and other progression-related attributes.

• Export/Import Option: Provide players with the ability to export their character sheet for external use or import it for future sessions.

Describe alternatives you've considered:
An alternative could be to use traditional paper-based character sheets. However, a digital solution offers more flexibility, ensures data consistency, and enhances the overall gameplay experience.

Additional context:
A robust Player Character Creation and Management feature is essential for player immersion and engagement. It allows players to invest emotionally in their characters, driving them to engage more deeply with the narrative and challenges presented by the GPT Dungeon Master.
