Web based implementation of Saral

Hi,
We are looking to provide a data collection mechanism to a large volunteer base. The data collection exercise is linked to short bursts of infrequent activity and we are unsure if volunteers would be willing to download an app specifically for this purpose. Is it possible to use a web-based application that can access camera controls and guide the user on the image quality? This image could then be uploaded and not processed locally.
