[wbrand.com](wbrand.com)

it doesn't try to open it

You can solve the problem with the MovementMethod, more info here.

Here an example:

text_view.text = Markdown.fromMarkdown("[hbrand.com](hbrand.com)")
text_view.movementMethod = LinkMovementMethod.getInstance()
