Enabling hour by hour labels on the Equator Line

How can hour by hour labels be enabled in the Equator Line without enabling the equatorial grid?
Currently the labels for every two hours are fixed and can't be changed: 0h, 2h, 4h, etc.
Is it possible to have 1 hour by 1 hour labels like 0h, 1h, 2h, 3h, etc, without having to enable the equatorial grid?

User Guide, section.4.4.4. No, every second hour only, and the tick marks are fixed in graduation to 30/10/5 degrees.
