Is Online Queries supposed to show the webpage within Stellarium?

Looking at #4405, I'm wondering if the internal web browser is supposed to work on Windows too? But no matter how I try, it always opens the external browser. Am I missing something?

Interesting! I can't get it to work, neither with my own build (Qt6.91) nor with the 25.2. I have tried setting disable_webview to true, but to no avail.

Oops... I can confirm broken internal browser in 25.2 release.

From what I can see in the CMakeLists of the plugin, Qt6WebEngine isn't a hard dependency: when it fails to be found, it's just disabled with a message. So you may be experiencing this.

It works in the dev version. But I saw that QWebEngine is no longer part of the package. I thought Qt changed it to use whatever Chromium is available in the system, but indeed it isn"t.

Ah yes, installing QtWebEngine solves this problem. But it should still be included in the stable release, as well as the dev snapshots.
