Description

(Submitted on behalf of North Point Ministries) Because of the way original check-in ran and was configured, it allowed registration mode to operate on the Person Select screens with a family already selected but could be removed from the Search and Family Select screens. This in effect disabled adding new families (which are handled at a different location) but allowed adding guests to existing families at the kiosk. Next-Gen Check-In does not have the ability to be configured to behave as the current check-in.

Actual Behavior

If Registration id enabled on the kiosk, both adding and editing families is enabled.

Expected Behavior

Because of the nature of Next-Gen check-in, feature parity would require a new configuration item to only show the Edit Family on the Person Select screen and not on the Search and Family Select screens.

Steps to Reproduce

  • On the check-in device, enable Registration mode
  • Start check-in on that device
  • Click Start and enter a a phone number not in the system.
  • Add Family is always displayed.

Issue Confirmation

  • Perform a search on the Github Issues to see if your bug or enhancement is already reported.
  • Reproduced the problem on a fresh install or on the demo site.
