When connecting to a Kafka cluster secured with TLS, we need SASL_TLS. When using a cert signed by a trusted CA like (DigiCert) there is no way to use that as default.

The button is not enabled until you have filled in the truststore location and password.

You can add the path for the cacerts truststore, but still the password is a required field to enable the start scan button.
