At the current stage, chapter 1 may be difficult to follow for people without previous low level programming experience.

I think that in the long run, we should provide a small section or chapter on some basics such as:

  • Pointers
  • Syscalls
  • Pages (memory), read/write/execute
  • Data types in memory
  • SIMD

I'm sorry to derail this issue, but I just wanted to say how much I appreciate what you are doing here :)
It would've been awesome if this had existed back when I started out with Zig.
