EnderIO crash on linux (Latest version for MC 1.12.2) #5563

Issue Description:

The Modpack is self made, I already tried with only endercore&enderio and got the same result, Im using Linux
info.txt
^ my linux dist and other useful stuff

What happens:

Starting a modpack with EnderIO on linux, and crashes on loading enderio core

What you expected to happen:

That it would normally start so i can play with my friends :c

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Be on Linux
  2. Open your launcher
  3. Start a pack with enderio
  4. Be Me
  5. Crash
    ...

Affected Versions (Do not use "latest"):

  • EnderIO: EnderIO-1.12.2-5.3.70.jar
  • EnderCore: EnderCore-1.12.2-0.5.76.jar
  • Minecraft: 1.12.2
  • Forge: forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2860-installer
  • SpongeForge? no
  • Optifine? yes
  • Single Player (it didnt appeared on starting a server with enderio on linux)

I am having the exact same problem, however i'm only having it on a dedicated server, not client

  1. make sure you are using Java 8 or 9. (can get a copy of Java 8 by using AT Launcher to download an instance that uses MC 1.12.2 and use Multi MC 5 to control the Java version)
  2. If Nvidia GPU used need to install the proprietary drivers
  3. both the single file version and the modular version works if steps 1 and 2 are checked and done properly
  4. try removing the config files and let them regenerate

Are you a bot? Unrelated and misleading response to an very old issue, it looks more like a broken eio core download or maybe an version mismatch
