Possible Bug: Simple Launcher Not Clearing Internal Storage #53
Comments
@tibbi, is this not a bug instead of a feature request? It isn't clearing app data when requested by Android, nor when removing the app. |
It isnt some internal app data, but something else. We cannot keep anything ourselves at clearing data |
So is this an Issue I should be opening with Sun-Times, then? |
I dont actually know what is that Widgets screen about at all |
@Saijin-Naib did you open up an issue over at Sun-Times repository ? if so, please link it here. |
Sorry, no, I dropped Simple Apps shortly after I opened this issue, so I have not investigated further. |
Simple Launcher seems to keep internal copies of all widgets and settings even after clearing internal storage and cache.
After uninstalling, you can see the widgets disappear from (in this case, Sun-Times from F-Droid), only to return when re-installed.
They can not be removed from within Launcher as they are not on its homescreen.
Videos of the behavior attached.
