Failing to initialize hydrogen project

Hello, I'm having trouble initializing a hydrogen project on Windows 11. I have Node version 20.18.0, npm version 10.8.2, shopify/hydrogen 2024.7.9 and shopify cli 3.69.0. When I try to initialize a project I choose use sample data and then name my storefront. At this point I get this error:

Have you tried clearing your NPM cache before installing?
npm cache clean --force

Hey dduupp, I tried this but I m still getting a similar error.
