Using location in delivery customization API

Will location (fulfillment location) be able to be used as an input in the delivery customization API, or is it on the way?

My use-case is we want to rename the shipping method based on the fulfillment location, because the fulfillment service we use let's us route the fulfillment to different sub-accounts based on the shipping method name.
