The calendar tab in the sidebar marks all days for which a daily note exists with a dot. This only seems to work within the current month. For example, today is Wednesday February 1st. I wrote a daily note for today, and February 1st gets a dot in the calendar. But I have a daily note for Tuesday January 31st, as well (for all of January, actually), and January 31st doesn't get a dot in the calendar.
When I switch the calendar back to January, the situation is reversed. Now, all days of January have a dot as they should, but February 1st doesn't have one.
