App is crashing on AR tab with below log. Is there any compatible glb file to test?

Root cause found

The crash is caused by a material version mismatch between the Filament runtime library and the pre-compiled .filamat files in the arsceneview module.

Details

• Filament runtime (in sceneview/build.gradle): v1.70.0 — expects material format version 70
• arsceneview/ materials (camera_stream_flat.filamat, etc.): compiled with Filament 1.56.0 tools — material format version 56
• sceneview/ materials (opaque_colored.filamat, etc.): correctly compiled with Filament 1.70.0 tools — material format version 70

The sceneview/ materials were regenerated in PR #667 and the deps/filament-1.70.0 branch, but the 6 arsceneview/ materials were missed in both updates:

• camera_stream_flat.filamat ← this is the "flat" material in the crash log
• camera_stream_depth.filamat
• face_mesh.filamat
• face_mesh_occluder.filamat
• plane_renderer.filamat
• plane_renderer_shadow.filamat

These files are pre-compiled binaries checked into the repo (the Filament Gradle plugin is disabled: filamentPluginEnabled=false in gradle.properties). The .mat source files exist at arsceneview/src/main/materials/ but were not recompiled when Filament was bumped from 1.56.0 to 1.70.0.

Fix

The 6 .filamat files in arsceneview/src/main/assets/materials/ need to be regenerated using matc from the Filament v1.70.0 release:

Alternatively, set filamentPluginEnabled=true in gradle.properties and point com.google.android.filament.tools-dir to a local Filament v1.70.0 tools installation — the Gradle plugin will compile them automatically on build.

This is not related to the GLB model file — the crash happens when loading SceneView's built-in AR camera stream material before any model is loaded.

Fixed in commit ed30a74 — all 6 arsceneview materials regenerated for Filament 1.70.0 (material version 56 → 70). The crash was caused by stale pre-compiled .filamat files that weren't updated when Filament was upgraded from 1.56.0 to 1.70.0.

last version 3.4.4 is still crashing on AR tab in android
