Hi, I'm reaching out through here because Samsung Support doesn't even know what a yubikey is. I cannot use yubikeys on my Tab S9 Ultra neither Galaxy S23, both via NFC or USB, for passwordless login. After I enter the yubikey password and touch the yubikey, it starts blinking rapidly, and the login fails. I had to disable my Google Account yubikey-only login so I could get back to google on my tablet. I'm reporting this as a security vulnerability since it forces people to disable passwordless login on their accounts and rely on weaker methods of authentication. Samsung is used on corporations as well so it's important that this feature works.
The same yubikey works on my XPS laptop and also on iPhone, so it's not a yubikey problem. I also tried with other yubikeys as well, all of them fail on Samsung and work on other devices.
I also reached out to Yubico, who confirmed this is a known issue for Samsung devices
