• Identify sentiment and bias of news and text online
• Reasonably website, ideally browser extension
• Challenges - How do we handle things like quotations?
• Expand the project description to include these ideas for when you meet with other stakeholders in your project (e.g., project manager, mentors, customers, etc.)- The overall goal of this project is to create a service that detects and “scores” news articles in terms of bias and emotionally charged or potentially misinformative language. The tool will do so using natural language processing algorithms for sentiment analysis and topic modelling, and the service will either be a website or browser extension that analyzes an input news article’s text.
