Installing Rosepad into Vanilla Launcher

  1. Download the Rosepad jar
  2. Download the JSON file
  3. Create a new folder within .minecraft/versions called “RosepadClient”
  4. Drop the JSON and the jar file into the “RosepadClient” folder
  5. Enable the “Show historical versions of Minecraft: Java Edition in the Launcher” setting
  6. Create a new installation
  7. Set the version of the new installation to old_alpha RosepadClient
  8. Run the installation and you’ll be playing Rosepad
