Hi, noob here.
The latest version of CstDoom3-BFG (v2.0) released last week,
has a feature I've been searching for the past 20 years.
It makes your gun seamlessly self-reload at the end of its “clip”.
i.e. You never have to reload. Just like the good ol' days.
I don't know why it took someone two decades to make this.
It's incredibly empowering and speeds up the pace of the game fantastically.
But CstDoom3 is running on its own fork,
so isn't really compatible with anything, meaning ugly old vanilla BFG Edition.
Could you add the feature to RBDoom3-BFG ?
Thanks!

I'd appreciate a cvar to disable weapon reloading without making ammo infinite, but this a significant gameplay change similar to something like having Always Run (and infinite stamina) in singleplayer.

Oh yeah, absolutely. I would never want infinite ammo.
I mean the ammo in Doom 3 is essentially infinite anyway,
with the exception of BFG ammo and grenades.
